Goodbye Summer

Well, the lazy days of summer are coming to an end. I know summer has not "officially" ended, but Jimmy is going back to school next week and so the Evans Family summer is over. Thats ok, we have made so many happy memories this summer. That's all I want, happy days that turn into happy memories. We only have two more years until Seth is in school....so I will take all I can get with my little family. I hope you all had a WONDERFUL summer! I love you all, you are the best family in the world!

Softball

Tim and Jimmys softball team (ACME Softball) finished in 1st place in their division of the 2nd half . It could not have been done without the support of their families and cheering section.....Thanks

Tims Summer (So far)

So here is the story of Tims summer:
June 1 Tim and Dawn go away on their anniversary trip. They return later that week and the next weekend was spent chipping away the tile and glue of the existing kitchen floor. Great family time and an open invitation to any friend that wanted to help. Come Monday Dawn goes to work and Tim, Austin and Siena start the wood flooring project. After two days Tim has to go on duty for 5 days and returns for two. On June 10th Tim's shift started that seemed like all summer. Here and there he got a few days off but was mostly on duty for over 45 days. He stayed here in Riverside County going to local fires till the end where he got to sleep under the stars in Merced, California. (Near Yosemite). As of this week Tim has his first 4 day, normal, days off. The four days off were utilized to hang French Doors leading out to to Park Tim (next post). It looks like a long summer.

Melissa's Hike

I went hiking yesterday....up to the M in moreno valley. I about died. Almost passed out three times....almost threw up a couple of times....kept seeing snakes that were not really there (mostly sticks that look very scary out of the corner of ones eye), and got scared and ran because I thought a mountain lion was chasing me...only to find out that is was just the string of my backpack that had come loose bumping into the bushes. Whatever....I made it, right? Go Mel. (This is where my family comes in.....you all call me and tell me how brave and cool I am for hiking up to the M).

Lame blog

Ok fam....our blog is lame-o! I know things are happening in our lives.....why are we not posting? Have you forgotton the log in and password?!?! Just call Mel and get it. We should be looking at cool pics from all the fires Tim has been on, Kourtney just got her drivers license...we need some pics of that, Kathryns fam just got back from a Big Bear vacation.....Nikki cut her hair again..... Eden is almost crawling....come on people....PLEASE post something...anything.
